i don't know how amy can write music that's just so agressive and so much evanescence but also so emotional. her voice on this song is the best ever.
i just can't describe how important her work is for ME, especially this song. the first time i listened to it, i cried, because it was so beautiful.
when i played to my friend she was totally like "oh,alright, so THAT'S the kind of music yar listening to. well, i don't know. i think i don't like it". i can't imagine how she can say that!!!!!! that's the best ballad ever ( alright, my immortal is the best )!!!!!!!!!!

| "I love Evanescence" doesn't say it enough. I love this band, I love their concept, their music, their style, I love Amy for her sense of humor, her looks are great!, she's down to earth but with a heavenly voice; her lyrics really get to me...sometimes I feel like i've written some of those songs: Amy and I have gone trough similar issues. My only complain is that this song isn't on the cd and i'd sure love to hear it; it's not fair that they only think about their fans in the US and Canada, don't they know they have plenty fans down here?? |

| This song isan amazing song and yeah u can't find it on the cd becuse you either had do download the c.d off itunes b4 the relese date or you have 2 get it off of a file sharing program. But as for this song it's self...it's the second song that i've heard by Amy that has brought me 2 tears(the first being the oh so powerful "My Immortal) and so far Evanesance has been the only group 2 make any song that has performed such a feat. Amy's voice is beautiful, powerful but soothing and her lyrics are amazing, and have only gotten better since the arival of Terry into the group. When The Open Door was released yes it did take me a bit of getting used 2 only because it has a diffrent tone from that of Fallen, but I wasn't dissapointed...the 3 years was very worht the wait!! I'm just said i wasn't in mainland Japan 2 see them perform =( |

| The lyrics actually say "the my own veins" and not "through my own veins). It should be Sparkling grey, the my own veins : which means that amy's inner self has turned so DARK, unlike the red normal veins (self) that ppl have. Its becos shes gone through alot of things that break her hurt for instance in the part where she sings "anymore than a whisper, any sudden movement of ma heart" which means that if she goes through anything mean and abusive again (maybe like her bf yelling at her etc), her heart will break and become even darker. Thats what i can intepret. What do u guys think? |
