| OMG first i just have to say this...the song is not happy at all...the whole CD is sad...amy stated that she started to write the songs to this CD soon after she broke up with her boyfriend..they were together for the longest and it just didnt work out..so she is bring her feelings about the relationship out in the songs and throughout the CD. I love this group and amy has a wonderful voice..continue to make great music and have fun! and thanks for the lyrics...but there were some mistakes like...."Shouldn't have let you torture me so"..there is no HAVE in that sentence. |

| Personally I think you are all missing the point. It isn't happy and at the same time it isn't sad. She is talking about being in love with someone and being willing to do anything for that person. But the person that she loves doesn't really love her back they are just leading her on and letting her bust her butt for nothing. And when she says "Am i good enough for you" she is trying to say that after everything she has done for the person she still doesn't feel good enough for the one she truely loves. | I dont see this song as a Happy song. Look at it, the person is talking about how someone has such a hold on her that she cant feel anything else but good, no matter what it really is. Sure the speaker is "feeling good enough" but is the person spoken to feeling the same? Now that the speaker is under the persons control, how far will that person take it? Think about that when you read the lyrics again. |

| I'll be honest, I didn't like this song the first time I heard it. I was so used to songs with predictable chord progressions and lyrics. The kind that you can sing along to even if you've never heard the song before. This song is nothing like that. It has quickly become my favorite Evanescence song since Hello. I love how versatile Amy's voice is. She alternates between soft and slightly breathy, to clear and powerful to incredibly raw. She puts so much emotion into her singing that just hearing one of her songs can change my mood completely. I love this and am so glad I got to see them in concert. |
