| Pearl Jam is an outstanding rock band, that has already earned its place in music history. Unfortunately, the lyrics to this song, though heartfelt and well-intentioned, are depressingly naive. Those that our president, rightly, have sent to fight, want us all dead. This is not hyperbole. Mr. Vedder and those who agree with him should thing this through. Those fighting for us have, and consequently re-up two, three and four times because they believe in what they are doing, and know its right. There is no devil on our shoulders.
