| i think the song is about a couple having a really good relationship but falling apart towards the end and her not being able to hold on, "You alone with those pills " obviesly shows that she couldnt take it and killed herself, and he cant forgive himself but is saying he forgives her even though he'll never be able to forget. |

| This song is such an amazing song. I think its about a couple who were in love and still are. Something terrible happened to them and they had to break up. The girl couldnt take it because they both still loved eachother so much and that they knew they couldnt get back together. So she commited suicide and he is saying could it be different if non of what had happened happened at all. He doesnt know what to do now.
In the end he forgives the girl for her mistake even though its too late to save her. |

| i love this song soooooo much...its brillent! i alos love all the reasons you guys think this song is about...real creativity.. but actually it is about the authors brothers in prison for a 30 year long term... from what the lyrics say, he appertently got high and fell asleep at the wheel..he must have also been traveling on the worng side of the highway, concluding in an accident.

| i think this song is about a married couple that were very young and the girl went on tour or went away and when she came back her young husband was so upset and could not trust her because she left but the girl still loved him but he didnt love her anymore. so she took a bunch of pills and killed her self because he didnt want her anymore. after her death he relized how wrong he was and he feels quilty about what he did. he forgives her for leaving even though its to late. i love this song!!!!!!! |
