| Wow...I've never had a lot of the troubles that Kirk has been through, but I have been through some self-loathing moments and what this song and it's video (which you can find on YouTube)have taught me is that no matter what terrible circumstance you've been through or whatever terrible things you've done in your life, Jesus can always take it away and wipe your slate clean. But you have to just let it go. You don't have to hold grudges against someone who's wronged you. You don't have to stay in that mistake that you've made. You don't have to slit your wrists or end your life. Things will get better. Jesus is always there for you. He will always be there for you when you're hurt and feel like crying. | Firstly, musically, it is a brilliant track. The use of the orchestra with the Rn'B is mesmorising. But the depth and spiritual content is something else. You feel like shouting the chorus and letting go of all your own insecurities and problems. This guy loves Jesus and the message is portrayed well in the album as a whole. As a Christian myself its like food to my soul, highly reccommended. |
