| The Lyrics are correct. Some people do not understand that the stylings of soulful singers such as Aretha Franklin and Mary J. Blige, to name a few, often stray away from the original lyrics. This is fine and it is what separates good singers from great singers. The trouble is that many of the unenlightened tend to think that printed lyrics are wrong because do do not reflect the way that their beloved singer sang them. This is unfortunate. The lyrics to this song are absolutely correct and I was blessed to be able to find them. Thank you for providing this wonderful resource. CGS |
