I really have only listned to them for about a year when my friend turned her new cd on at her b-day party and i was like WTF is this but then i listened more and I absolutly love them. I think every song is awsome. I dont have a fav and Daron and John are my favs because they are so good at what the play (Guitar, Drums). Have you really ever thought about how hard it is to play what Daron or John play on them? Espacially Daron. I know how hard it is Because i play guitar and I have tried to paly some of his stuff...It's amazing. |

| I can't say SOAD is my favorite, as the come 2nd (only to Tool of course). The first song I heard was Spiders (I was in high school), and I bought the CD. Listening to it, I thought, WTF, this is crap, but I kept listening, and it eventually grew on me. Now, this song isn't the best. Politically, it brings up an important point, but stops short. Speaking of just this album, from a political viewpoint, without giving it too much thought, the best songs would be Attack, Holy Mountains, and Soldier Side. Just my 2 (or 3) yen. |
