| I think this song is definitely about homosexuality. It's clear that the speaker is in love with Andy (you can here the pain in his voice!). But Andy is trying to hide the fact that he is gay. This is where the "hey shut up" comes in. If you listen you can tell "hey shup up" is spoken in a different tone than the rest of the song. Andy is the one telling the speaker to shut up because he doesn't want people to know that he is gay. Also, the speaker asks Andy to leave his number on the locker, which suggests that they are having a secret relationship. Andy is trying to hide who he really is, hence the girl in the car who is essentially just another cover. If you read the song more than once you start to see everything fall into place. Truly this is a sad song! |

| OK people this song isn't about homosexuality it does sound like it at first but if you clearly listen to the song at the beginning it says "One, Two" which means there two people a guy and a girl!! The guy starts and the girl says "Hey shut up" brecause she trying to hide there relationship!! She also sings "In the car with a girl, promise me she not your world" because she loves him, ok!!She also sings "Andy your a star"!! If you listen his voice changes every part to show you that!! The reason a girl isn't sing it is because he is telling the story not her!! (plus theres no girl in the group!!) |
