| I first heard this amazing song on Extreme Homemakeover, while my father was fighting to beat cancer (multiple myeloma). When I heard this song I cried like I have never cried before. My Dad lost his battle with cancer on April 1, 2007. My Dad was truly the leader of our family. I miss him so much, it feels like this hurt will never go away. My family played this song at my Dad's funeral. It truly describes how I feel about my Dad. People always tell me "only the good die young." Of course, that does not mend my broken heart. But I do find some peace in knowing that my father is no longer suffering from the terrible disease that took his life. |

| Recently my old babysetter was killed. she was a very special..to me and to alot of other people. I live in a tiny town of 3000 people..so you get to know everybody really wel. So when someone dies here its a mayjor deal. But she was EXTRA special. I Love her and WE will ALL miss her!! She has A son Tyler and a Daughter Carly.. Tyler is in 8th grade and Carly graduated last year. Me and tyler are used to be really close but something happoned. i went off to hs and HE stayed back at jr high.
Suzy Was a para in my physical Science class and Now the class is just not the same.. This song just describes her!.
Then my grandpa he was my best friend in the world and he died on the 23rd of augest in the hospital on his birthday.
I got the news at my school my 6th grade year. and the other day was the 3 yr aniversury for his death.. when i was in the 6th grade i stayed with my grandma after his death. and i said " do you ever get scared here my your self?"
And she said something ill never forget she said "You gatta be strong when you gatta be strong"
And in that moment it came to me.. Both of my grandparents were angels. They were both there for me when times were tough.. Thanks for the song! |
