| Guns n' Roses did have Cats on an unreleased album. However, as Harry Chapin wrote the song i don't think it's fair that they are credited with it so much!! It would have been a kick ass song for Gn'R to do though. |

| You guys are all idiots. Gee,....could you show your ignorant age any more? Guns n Roses never wrote, played, or covered this song. The version you heard and are thinking of is by Ugly Kid Joe. It was done in the 90's on their album called "Americas Least Wanted". So all of you ragging on others for "not knowin their GnR...",.....I wouldnt talk if I were you. You just heard the entire song and STILL thought it was them. ANY REAL GnR fan can tell Axel Roses voice from ANY other singer. But,.....just like a moron to just assume. Idiots. |

| I was confused when I read that Guns and Roses wrote this so I asked my husband who is very much up on music and the artists and he said the artist is Harry Chapin. I love this song, I use to sing it to my son back int the 80's. It is deffinately his song! |
