| Guns n' Roses did have Cats on an unreleased album. However, as Harry Chapin wrote the song i don't think it's fair that they are credited with it so much!! It would have been a kick ass song for Gn'R to do though. |

It was done in the 90's on their album called "Americas Least Wanted". So all of you ragging on others for "not knowin their GnR...",.....I wouldnt talk if I were you. You just heard the entire song and STILL thought it was them. ANY REAL GnR fan can tell Axel Roses voice from ANY other singer. But,.....just like a moron to just assume. Idiots. |

| I was confused when I read that Guns and Roses wrote this so I asked my husband who is very much up on music and the artists and he said the artist is Harry Chapin. I love this song, I use to sing it to my son back int the 80's. It is deffinately his song! |
