This song is originally written and composed by Edwin Mccain.
The version commonly mistaken to be by the GGD is the LP version of the song and it is still by Edwin Mccain.
The only person that has covered I'll Be was Dean Geyer from Australian Idol in 2005.
Now, the song the Goo Goo Dolls covered was "I'll Be there for you" originally done by the Rembrandts for the Series Finale of Friends.
Those are the accurate facts, GGD have NEVER covered or performed this song. Anyone that states otherwise doesn't know what the hell they are talking about. |
