Lyrics and songs like the name says is about Lyrics And Songs....

We work on building a nice Lyrics Library, currently the largest lyrics website that we know of on the internet (we will keep our number secret for now, but you can find out from the song IDs how big the website is), We update the website with hundreds of lyrics every single day of the week.

Advertisements:

The basic idea was to have the website ad free, Yet it seemed impossible with all the running cost (servers (2) one for searching and one for serving, Our teams internet connection (for the demanding job), paying for the technical help we sometimes need to keep the project running, and more stuff), so we had to place banner ads to support the website, once we have enough traffic to support the costs, we can take some out.

Although we do our best to keep our site popup and pop-under free, we can not seem to find sponsors who do not serve pops or give you the option of stopping the popups,  we should find a solution to that pretty soon, We also DO NOT and will never show advertising for casinos or adult websites.

Children and privacy:

The internet is a dangerous place yes, We do not target children under 13, but as you may know they target us, we do not collect information from our visitors, and we try so hard to protect minors who end up on our website, we have a mission of not giving anyone a way of contacting a minor through our website,  (watch us masking info in every comment here and there that has personal info or an address).

Explicit Lyrics:

Yes there are explicit lyrics on our website, but it is impossible to filter them out, We care about children, we understand the need, that's why we are looking forward to making a totally child safe copy of the website (including only the lyrics we find appropriate) but until that time, we do not have many choices as you can see.

Ownership

Anyway the website (unlike what some people think) Has nothing to do with the artists themselves, we are simply providing the lyrics of artists songs, we also provide them for educational purposes only and do not own them.
